Why interactor

The name Interactor was no coincidence. Our RIBs are designed to interact with the water, with the weather, with your mission, your team, and the unexpected challenges you face. Whether you're navigating rough seas, assisting people in need, or carrying out demanding professional tasks, an Interactor boat is your most reliable partner.

We build high-performance RIBs for professionals who expect more: more durability, more control, more precision. With a relentless focus on quality, customization, and long-term performance, every Interactor boat is made to serve. Here’s what sets us apart:

Vacuum infused hulls

  • Zero air entrapment = No osmosis risk

  • Uniform hull thickness and weight

  • Resin use 100% controlled

  • Environmentally responsible

  • Consistent, high-quality results

At Interactor, we use vacuum infusion instead of traditional hand lay-up. This method offers significant advantages, not only for hull quality but also for the environment. Vacuum infusion eliminates odour emissions and resin waste, making it a cleaner, more sustainable process.

Most importantly, it ensures zero trapped air in the laminate, virtually eliminating the risk of osmosis and weak spots in the hull. The result: extremely reliable, uniform hulls with consistent weight and thickness.

Poly-urethane tubes

  • UV-stability

  • High chemical resistance

  • Colour stability

  • 25+ years lifespan

All our tubes are made from high-quality polyurethane (PU), available in both standard duty and heavy duty versions. It’s important to note that even our standard duty PU is exceptionally robust.

Key characteristics of PU include: exceptional color retention, UV stability, high chemical resistance, and outstanding durability. Thanks to its superior abrasion resistance, our tubes can withstand friction from ropes, fenders, and docking without showing signs of wear. PU ensures long-lasting performance and a clean appearance, even in the most demanding marine environments.

Carefully hand crafted

  • Fully custom built

  • Smart balance of machinery and human craftmanship

  • No mass production - just high-end, tailored quality

Each Interactor is custom-built and tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients and the environments in which they operate. We maintain a carefully considered balance between advanced machinery and skilled human craftsmanship. Our production process is optimized to use machines where they excel - such as in the precision welding of seams - while preserving the human touch where it truly matters.

Finishing tasks like polishing, taping gelcoat lines, and the final sanding of seams are done by hand, ensuring a level of perfection and finesse that machines simply cannot replicate. This attention to detail guarantees the highest quality, and ensures that every boat is individually cared for.

Welded seams

  • Airtight connection

  • Average lifespan of 25+ years

  • Unique advantage compared to other brands

Our tubes are assembled using heat-welding rather than glue. This technique ensures an exceptionally strong and durable bond, far superior to traditional glued seams. On average, our welded PU tubes last around 20 years, an impressive lifespan that sets Interactor apart in the industry.

Unlike Hypalon, which cannot be welded, PU is the only high-quality material that allows for this construction method. This makes PU not only the most durable choice, but also the only one that enables a fully sealed, long-lasting tube structure.

Welded seams

Internal seams

  • Prevents dirt and moisture infiltration

  • Increases durability and lifespan

  • More labor-intensive, but worth the added value

We go the extra mile by integrating an internal seam between the tube and the hull, a feature we include as standard, not as an option. This extra step prevents dirt, sand, and moisture from getting between the tube and hull, significantly extending the lifespan and preserving the overall quality of the boat.

The internal seam also reinforces the bond between the tube and hull, making it stronger and more reliable. Although it requires more work and comes at a higher cost, it reflects our commitment to delivering premium, long-lasting boats without compromise.

Internal seams

Vinylester versus polyester

  • Vinylester resin instead of polyester

  • Superior water resistance

  • Extra safety if laminate becomes exposed over time

We use vinylester resin instead of the more common (and cheaper) polyester. Vinylester offers superior water resistance, which becomes especially important as the boat ages and minor damage may expose the underlying laminate.

This added protection ensures that even over time, your hull remains resistant to water intrusion, delamination, and structural weakening, offering long-term peace of mind and performance.

Quality over quantity

  • Worth the wait

  • Designed to be refitted, not replaced

  • Long term durability

We do not engage in mass production, because cutting corners on quality is not part of our philosophy. Every boat we build receives the same level of care, attention, and precision regardless of size or type.

This commitment to craftsmanship explains both the lead time and the investment required. But few brands in the world can match our standard: a boat that lasts over 20 years, one that clients choose to refit rather than replace.

We believe our customers value quality over price - and that's exactly what we deliver.
